Cartridge dust collector are next generation Bag filter type dust collector using Pleated cartridge filters for effectively capturing finer dusts instead of filter bags. Cartridge type dust collectors have many advantages over traditional bag collectors, like large filter area packed in smaller overall sizes hence reduces overall size of dust collectors for same capacity, which saves a lot in structural casing cost and expensive factory floor space. High filter area to overall dimension ratio means less number of cartridges will be required and saves a lot of productivity time during filter change out and it’s easy comparably.
The collection efficiency of well-designed cartridge filter dust collectors are up to 99.9% in collecting submicron sized particles as small as 0.3 microns. The reverse pulse jet system prevents the choking of filters by purging compressed inside the filters in regular intervals which makes the dust particles to fall down from the outer surface of the cartridge filters. Cartridge filter dust collectors are indoor dust collectors which can be has the efficiency to collect the airborne processing dust from 3 to 7 machines depending upon the dust quantity. The orientation of the blowers can be changed as foot mounted and flange mounted as per the site conditions.
Dynavac bag filter dust collectors use tubular bag filters that are cylindrical shaped non-woven fabric as the filter media. In bag filter dust collectors, similar to baghouse dust collectors, the dirty air is forced through the outside of the bag filter to the inside. Dust particles are captured on the outside of the bag filters. Bag filter dust collectors also use pulse clean technology. A periodic pulse of compressed air is sent across the bag filter to dislodge the dust cake, which forms on the outside of the bag filter. This is an online cleaning process. Bag filter dust collectors are ideally suited to capture material that is easily released from the media during the cleaning cycle
Cartridge dust collectors are better suited to capture the following kinds of dust:
